Midsumma’s Literature & Spoken Word Events

Joining Dean and guest co-host Danae Gibson, to talk about Midsumma’s program of Literary and Spoken Word Events is Jules Wilkinson, a writer and performer who watches far too much television. She has written everything from advice columns to reviews of porn, and her published essays included insights into her life in therapy, lesbian erotica and her thoughts on TV shows including Supernatural and True Blood. Her hilarious and often twisted views on queer life have amused, and sometimes confused, audiences at festivals including Midsumma, Mardi Gras, Next Wave, Feast and the Melbourne Writers’ Festival, and most of her friends’ lounge rooms.
