Australia’s first gay and lesbian radio station, Melbourne’s JOY 94.9, announced today that a new show exploring sex and sexuality will form part of its new programming schedule. The show titled ‘Hide & Seek’ will be presented by Dean Beck, with regular contributions from the Eros Foundation, The Australian Sex Party, Doctors, Psychologists and others. “Hide & Seek endeavors to explore and empower the listener’s individual sexuality whilst celebrating the diverse nature of sexual expression in our GLBTIQ Community,” explained JOY’s head of programming Leenie Fabri. Dean Beck, a former President of Pride March Victoria and media spokesman for Melbourne Leather Pride, works in Australia’s thriving Adult Industry. “I am excited that JOY 94.9 has seen fit to offer a voice to Melbourne’s united, strong and ever-growing Leather, Fetish, Bear and Kink communities,” said Dean Beck. “The show will engage, educate, challenge and hopefully inspire people to be who and what they want to be; responsibly,” said Dean.
